We just finished a very nice artificial putting green in Rancho Bernardo the other week. We were able to create some very challenging putts with out hand sculpted base.

Bad draining yards
Many if our clients are pleased with our finished work just for the fact that we actually can improve poor drainage issues. During the installation we often times need to correct the grade of their lawn area. This is simply done by adding more of our class 2 base in low spots so that water will drain toward the correct areas of the lawn. While we are removing the 4-6″ of existing sod and topsoil, we also re-route and install new drain lines and connect to existing drain lines to increase the drainage throughout the entire yard. By doing this, their new synthetic grass is installed properly with better results during San Diego’s heavy winter storms.

Synthetic Turf for the Holidays!
We have had the great opportunity to fulfill some of our clients dreams by installing their putting greens just in time for the Holidays! With family coming into town and friends coming over, the backyard is going to be the focal point of their Christmas Parties. This month will feature some of our best work as we have several artificial putting greens and artificial lawns that will be installed. Pictures of this work will soon be posted.
Wet Weather = Need For Synthetic Grass
While it may seem like the rainy weather doesn’t help our business, there are actually a lot of benefits to artificial grass in wet conditions. Many customers install synthetic grass to avoid having mud tracked all over their yards and into their house by mischevious pets or kids. Our aggregate sub-base allows for clean drainage under the grass, eliminating muddy foot/paw prints on your concrete or inside your home.

Here is a putting green in Carmel Valley that shows a neat look of how we can create a short apron around a green with a cut of a longer blade grass next to it for chipping areas by the green.

Family Chipping Contest in Scripps Ranch
Our clients in Scripps Ranch wasted no time in getting the competition started with a chipping and putting contest on their new 600 sq ft putting green in their back yard.
